The Assistant Director is going to conduct a zoning and supervision training, staff will watch the Supervising Children in Child Care Centers on CCLD website, Active Supervision and Outside Play - Based on documentation, video footage and interviews, the facility staff did not comply with the section cited above, as a child was left unattended on the playground for approximately 6 minutes before staff noticed the child on the playground. This poses an immediate health, safety, and personal rights risk to persons in care. Site Supervisor will create a plan on how they will ensure a qualified teacher is present, at all times when children are in care. Site supervisor will conduct a meeting and provide LPA with a copy of the agenda which includes aides only working under the supervision of a teacher. Based on video footage, staff interviews and site supervisor admintance 3 teachers aides were left alone with 7 children in care without a qualified teacher present.
