Prior to today's inspection the employee involved received disciplinary action, the center's staff medication policy was updated, and a staff training is scheduled for today April 18, 2023. The Director shall provide the sign in sheet for the training by the POC date. Based on staff interview, as well as the self reported incident report; a child found medication on the classroom floor and picked up the medication. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety and personal rights of the children in care. AB 633 states upon receipt, licensee shall post and provide copies of this licensing report to parents/guardians of children in care at the facility and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months and it is to be signed and kept in each child’s file.
