This deficiency has been cleared during today's case management visit. The LPA observed that the facility removed the affected faucets from service by capping the pipes below the faucet and now the children have no way of using it. Children in care are receiving drinking water from individual tumblers from home that staff refill from faucets inside the facility as needed. Based on record review, the facility had four faucets (Sites "A", "G", "H", and "I") that exceeded that allowable levels of lead in the water (8.0 ppb, 9.0ppb, 7.0ppb and 8.0ppb, respectively). 101223(a)(2) · The Licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. The licensee stated she will provide a written plan on how she will discuss with parents the mask requirements for children over the age of 2 and how CDPH and Cal/OSHA mask requirements will be followed while being indoors, except for snack, lunch and napping.
