The center director stated that the center will be conducting an all staff training on 04/30/26 in order to provide additional training to staff on providing care and supervision to children and handling transitions. The center director stated that he will submit a summary of the training along with proof of attendance to the LPA by 05/01/26. Based on interviews conducted by the LPA and the center director’s own admission, it was corroborated that on 04/02/26 at approximately 09:30am, child C1 was without supervision of a teacher for approximately two minutes while in the classroom before being reunited with their class. This posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The director stated that S1 will be fingerprinted (Live Scan) again and will only be permitted to return to the facility once a valid clearance has been issued. Based on a review of the personnel report dated April 10, 2026, and observations made during the visit, Staff S1 was observed working directly with children in care. However, S1 was not listed on the facility’s personnel roster and does not have an eligible California clearance on file.
