101170(e) · 101170(e) All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility: (1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department. The director agreed that M. Walker will not work at the center until she obtains a criminal record clearance. LPM will confirm that D. Coleman is no longer working at the center by close of business on 8/12/22. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by LPM's observation of staff member M. Walker caring for children. The director confirmed that she began working at the center on 8/8/22. LPM checked and found that M. Walker does not have a criminal record clearance. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. An immediate $400 civil penalty is assessed today and $100 per day will be assessed until corrected.
