101229(a)(1) · 101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs.(1)No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation.
Director agrees to write a decleration informing the department of what it is the center is doing to ensure children are not left unsupervised. All staff will watch: Supervising Children in Child Care Center and provide LPA with a brief summary. Video can be found at the following website: ccld.childcarevideos.org Based on observations and interviews, hildren were left unsupervised during nap time while staff escorted 1 child to the restroom. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.
