This is a potential health and safety risk to children. 101229(C) · 7 sleep logs were observed to be missing initials or signatures, signing off the Safe Sleep15-minute checks had been completed. Licensee discussed Safe sleep 15-minute checks with staff on 12/14/2023. Licensee will be having additional training on 2/5/2024 documenting the Safe Sleep 15-minute checks. 101429(a)(2) · (B&C) RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROVIDING CARE AND SUPERVISION FOR INFANTS Staff shall physically check on sleeping infants every 15 minutes. Documentation shall be maintained in the infant’s file and be available to the Department for review. The LPA provided the regulations and additional clarifications. The Licensee will provide copies and training to all staff who supervise children under the age of 24 months.
