Director stated S3 was terminated on 9/18/23 and they will conduct staff trainings on personal rights. Director will submit proof of training to LPA by POC due date. Based on LPA’s interviews S3 violating C1 personal rights by S3 putting C1 on the floor with C1 hands behind C1 back and putting S3 knee on C1’s neck. statements provided by staff and Director stated that since the incident has occurred she has conducted a meeting with all staff regarding discipline policy and personal rights of the children. Director stated that she will send out a memo to school age staff as a reminder and include LPA in email stella.gutierrez@dss.ca.gov stated that the staff yell at the children in care. This violates the personal rights of the children in care and poses a potential risk.
