    101227(a)(8) · 101227(a)(8) Food Services; In child care centers providing meals to children, the following shall apply: Commercial foods shall be approved by appropriate federal, state and local authorities. All foods shall be selected, transported, stored, prepared and served so as to be free from contamination and spoilage and shall be fit for human consumption. Food in damaged containers shall not be accepted, used or retained. Director Yasmmin Rawlins immediately removed the expired milk from the infant room refridgerator and replaced with a miilk that expires on 11/30/22. Based on LPA’s observation at time of investigation, the faciity is providing expired food to children in care, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
