101239(f)(1) · Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies (f) Solid waste shall be stored, located and disposed of in a manner that will not transmit communicable diseases or odors, create a nuisance, or provide a breeding place or food source for insects or rodents. (1) All containers used for storage of solid wastes, including moveable bins, shall have a tightfitting cover that is kept on; shall be in good repair; and shall be leakproof and rodent-proof.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation an interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the trash cans that are used to store solid waste did not obatain a tight fitted cover, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
