102423(a)(1) · Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged by the licensee regardless of consent or authorization from the child's authorized representative. These rights include ... (1) To be treated with dignity in his/her personal relationship with staff and other Licensee (L1) stated she will use vebal prompts and positive reinforcement, instead of using "taps" on their bottoms, to assist children with doing what they are supposed to do. L1 stated she will develop a detailed written plan for how to implement this change and will email the detailed written plan to persons. This requirement has not been met as evidence by: Observation and witness statements that L1 lightly hit children on the bottom.
