  Based on LPA’s interviews, 5 of 7 staff members stated the previous Director’s last day was 3/3/23 New Director submitted a complete DIrector packet to LPA Valdez Santana on 05/07/23. S1 stepped in as interim director from 3/3/23 until the end of 4/2023. The new Director returned from leave 5/1/23. LPA reviewed S1’s file and S1 did not have the qualifications to act as Interim Director. This poses a potential risk to the safety of the children in care.
