Facility informed parent of incident today 02/07/2024. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected. Based interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when facility did not inform parent or authorized representative of an incident that occured in the facility which poses an potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights of children in care. Director will have staff watch videos on personal rights with understanding and knowledge of CCLD regulations. Director will have staff complete a statement and submit to LPA via email by POC date of September 27, 2023. Director advised she will be conducting cultural sensitivity traning as well. which poses an immediate risk to the children in care. Based on staff interviews a staff member called a african american child a Negrita and Hispanic child a gordita in Spanish languge addressing the child's size to the class and staff memebers in a humilating manner
