  101700.3(b)(1) · 101700.3 California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (b) Testing results with fractional ppb readings of 0.5 ppb or greater shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number, before comparing to the Action Level. (1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. One outlet in kitchen that is not currently in use (faucet D) and made inaccessible to children. The facility is working on removing the outlet, and will submit plan of action with approximate time frames for removal, by 05/22/24. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by the lead testing results received, indicating that one outlet in the facility had results in exceedance of the 5 ppb Action Level. This poses a potential risk to the children in care. Director understands if more time is required to remediate exceedance this will be requested directly to LPA supervisor S. Johnson.
