Director had all staff participate in a meeting reviewing Personal Rights, and provided a staff sign-in sheet and agenda to CCL. Staff #5 is no longer employed at Joyful Noise. Based on staff interviews, Staff #5 escorted Child #1 by the wrist to prevent Child #1 from hitting, fleeing, and while Child #1 was pulling away. This resulted in redness to the child’s wrist. This poses a potential risk to health, safety and personal rights to the children in care.

records review and interviews Administrator Cederblom stated she and staff would conduct a training on best practices in safety handling misbehavior/tantrums and watch ccld.ca.gov video titled "Personal Rights". Signed staff agenda and video transcript will be submitted to the Department by POC date: 5/13/2022. LPA Ocegueda obtained corroborating interviews and photos that revealed staff #1 picked up child #1 during a tantrum to place child in "time out" area and in doing so, caused markings on his/her armpit area. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety and or personal rights to children in care.
