101229(a)(1) · (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation.
Facility has conducted active supervision training with staff and sent LPA the training details and signed agenda from staff who attended. Facility will also be adding another teacher to C1's class to increase supervision needs. Based on record review and interview, the Licensee did not comply with the above by leaving a child without supervision in the outdoor activity area. This posed a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to persons in care. Deficiency cleared. The facility will device a training curriculum with all the teachers regarding . Possible office meeting will be scheduled. LPA also advised the site manager about the Technical Support Program (TSP) to aide with the staff trainings regarding Personal Rights. Facility has implemented supervision training on 9/21/2023. Site Director submitted training verification signed by all Room 8 staff. Facility has in-service training every month. Children were sent out to play without supervision from teachers. Teachers did not communicate properly regarding who was available to supervise children which poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
