Deficient Practice Statement Based on LPA observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In the 3–5year old classroom, LPA observed 4 of 24 children awake on their napping cots with only one teacher present, as the second teacher had stepped out of the room. Additionally, in the 2–3 year old napping room, LPA observed 2 of 14 children awake and sitting up during nap time with only one teacher present in the room.
