101216.3(a) · (a) There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below. This was not met as evidenced by D1 stated she disagrees. The classes combine while outside so teachers are combined in ratio. One teacher is resposible with the headcount roster, rotating approximately every 30 minutes and actively counts and records ratio. Based on statements provided by adult interviews revealed the facility operates out of ratio daily, when staff are on break, using restroom, off work, and when assisting children with toileting needs. This poses/posed a potential health, safety and/or personal rights risk(s) to children in care. 101171(a) · All child care centers shall secure and maintain a fire clearance approved by the city or county fire department, the district providing fire protection services, or the State Fire Marshal.This was not met as evidence by D2 stated that the City of Napa Fire Department will be conducting an inspection on 05/21/24 for an increase in capacity for the preschool license. D2 she is submitting a LIC200A immediately for the increase in capacity. D2 will submit a written plan on how they will stay in compliance with capacity requirements to LPA M.
