D1 stated that S1 was terminated on 3/8/26 because it is in our handbook that a violation of child's rights is grounds for immediate termination. Based on interviews conducted, S1 handled a day care child while in care in a rough manner, which poses an potential health, safety and personal rights risk to the children in care. Licensee has made the faucet temporarily inaccessible by placing a bag over it and posting a sign behind it reading "Do not use" Based on record review, the facility had 1 drinking fountain in the hallway that exceeded the allowable levels of lead in the water (8.3 ppb). This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care. and children bring their own water and receive drinking water from a filtered water dispenser which was tested.
