101223(a)(2) · Personal Rights - Each child shall be accorded safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment.
Facility will submit a written plan detailing how they will stop all further biting incidents from C1. This plan will be signed by the director and all staff members that plan to work with C1. This will be submitted to the Department by the POC due date. Based on the interview and record review, the facility did not meet the Personal Rights regulation which poses a potential Personal Rights risk to the children in care. There were at least 8 biting incidents over the course of 5 weeks, documented that were not prevented by the facility involving the same child, Child 1 (C1).
