101239(m) · Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies. All play equipment and materials used by children shall be age-appropriate. This requirement is not being met as evidence by: LPA observed Dirt King (DK-250-R) tricyles on the play yard. Director removed tricycles and placed them on the older preschool play yard. Deficiency corrected during visit. Per manufacturer specifications, this particular model of tricyle is for ages 4-6. This play yard was for the younger preschoolers (2-3 year olds). This has the potential to be a health and safety risk to children in care.

This regulation is not being met as evidence by: multiple interviewees state that they observed or heard of S11 "bopping" a child on the head with a soft block and S11 hitting a child on the back resulting in the children crying.
