101216.3(c)(1)(C) · Teacher-Child Ratio Child development programs funded by the California Department of Education and operating under Title 5...Contractors shall maintain at least the following minimum ratios in all centers: Preschool (36 months to enrollment in kindergarten) - 1:8 adult-child ratio, 1:24 teacher-child ratio. Per Progam Director, a meeting will take place within 24 hours in which ratios and firs-aid protocols will be discussed. Program Director provided a signed declaration that the meeting will be held during the inspection. Meeting plannig took place during the inspection. This requirment is not met as evidenced that Staff #3 was singularly caring for 9 to 10 children at the time that Child #1 sustained an injury that required medical atteniton.
