Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (1) Fireplaces and open face heaters shall be screened to prevent access by children. Deficient Practice Statement Based on LPAs observation, Licensee did not meet above regulation. LPAs observed toy storage areas to have items stacked and unbalanced, toys in bins to have visible dirt, toys in outdoor play yard to be broken exposing sharp edges with visible dirt and spider webs, feces on grass of outdoor play area, and other miscellaneous items in areas used by the children stored up high that may be pulled down.
