The teacher involved in the incident was terminated as of January 8, 2026. Staff attended a training on Personal Rights that was completed by January 9,2026. Staff 1 (S1) did not ensure that children's personal rights were secured by throwing a book and hitting child in face which posed an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children in care.
