101223(a)(3) · Child’s Personal Rights Section 101223 (a)(3) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse, or other actions of a punitive nature…, Director ensured that all staff had the training to prevent personal rights violations. Facility director termiated the staff. LPA clear the deficiency during the visit and provided POC letter. Staff spoke to child in raised voice as child was not listening to staff, which posed an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.

101223(a)(1) · (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights (1) To be accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons. An investigation was conducted by the Administrators and the staff member who violated a child's personal rights was released from her duty as a teacher/ staff member at the facility.
