  102423(a)(2) · PERSONAL RIGHTS(a)(2) Each child receiving services from a family childcare home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged by the licensee regardless of consent or authorization from the child's authorized representative. Today, licensee verbally indicated that her husband is not present during day care hours and licensee agrees that her husband will not be present in any of the approved daycare rooms during daycare hours. These rights include, but are not limited to, the following: (2) To receive safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment.

  Based on interviews and record review, it was determined that during a trip to their home in Mexico the licensee’s husband acted physically inappropriate toward a teenage minor travelling with them. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety and or personal rights of children in care Licensee provided a written and signed statement indicating the above. An informal meeting will be held at the Fresno Child Care Office to further discuss.
