101429(a)(1) · 101429(a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision for Infants. (a) In addition to Section 101229, the following shall apply: (1) Each infant shall be constantly supervised and under direct visual observation and supervision by a staff person at all times. Director agreed to have a meeting with staff regarding providing care and supervision. 101427(h) · Infants who are unable to hold a bottle shall be held by a staff person or other adult for bottle feeding. At no time shall a bottle be propped for an infant. An infant shall not be allowed to carry a bottle while ambulatory. A bottle given to an infant able to hold his/her own bottle shall be unbreakable. The directror stated that since they became aware that the practice of propping a bottle in an infnat's mouth is unsafe and not within compliance, the facility has ceased this practice and always holds a bottle in an infant's mouth when feeding.
