101416.2(b) · 101416.2 Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties (b) Prior to employment, an infant care teacher shall have completed, with passing grades, at least three post secondary semesters or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development, and three post secondary semester or equivalent quarter units related to the care of infants, at an accredited or approved college or university.

by Director stated she will no longer use S3 to help out with teacher-child ratio. LPA observed S2 direct S3 from the kitchen into the Infant classroom to help with staffing ratio. During file reviews, it was determine S3 was not hired at the center as a teacher or aide and did not have qualifications to be inside the infant classroom caring for children in care.
