102417(g)(4) · Operation of A Family Child Care Home (g) The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 7 out of 7 persons, as LPA observed in the backyard, a large black garbage bag, two water hoses across the patio, exposed wood on the step leading into the children's playhouse, a fan with cord hanging from the fan accessible to children. In the upper backyard play area, LPA observed a piece of wood, aloe vera plant and rose bushes with thorns accessible to children. which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
