Supervision shall include visual observation.

Director stated that C1 is no longer attending the facility as of 10/27/2023. Director also stated that facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been adjusted to ensure the proper supervision of daycare children, and facility will utilize behavioral specialists to work with children. Based on LPA interviews, record review, law enforcement report review, and video recording observations, facility did not provide adequate supervision as necessary to meet children's needs, resulting in daycare children being hit by C1 on multiple occasions, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Director stated that staff will watch CCLD video "Supervising Children in Child Care Centers", and director will provide proof of training to Deparment by 11/23/2023.
