    101223(a)(3) · Personal Rights: (a)The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (3)To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature…This requirement was not Director will email LPA Valdez Santana at dianna.valdezsantana@dss.ca.gov her POC Plan by POC due date. In addition, Director started a "Disciplinary Action Plan" with S3.Director will have a staff meeting regarding Personal Rights on 9/25/24. Will email staff agenda and sign in. met as evidenced by: Based on LPA’s interviews, 2 out of 3 staff stated S3 children complained about S3 is not nice to the children. 4 out of 5 children disclosed that S3 yells at children. 1 out 6 parents stated their child complains about S3. This poses an immediate risk to the health of the children.

    Director stated she understands it was a mistake to allow the child to attend the school-age field trip and will not be doing that again. Director met with her staff and told them that the preschool cannot comingle with the school-age. Based on interviews, 2 out 3 staff admitted a preschool child attended a school-age field trip. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.

Will email agenda and staff in. met as evidenced by: Based on LPA’s interviews, 1 out of 3 staff disclosed S3 was talked to about using the phone for personal use during working hours while the staff was supposed to be supervising children. 3 out 5 children disclosed observing S3 using the phone while caring for children.
