    101223(a)(1) · 101223 Personal Rights (a)The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (1) To be accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons.

    Facility conducted an internal investigation, resulting in termination of S1’s employment as of 1/13/26. The whole staff will review and provide a statement of understanding Personal Rights CCR section 101223, to the LPA via email by due date. Based on interviews, three (3) out of five (5) interviewed staff and two (2) out of three (3) interviewed children stated they witnessed S1 yelled at the children in care, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.     as evidenced Per Director, immediately (3/25/22) had a staff meeting regarding supervision and Sign In and out protocols, and required staff to keep QR code, for Parents to sign children out, on staff's person at all times. Per Director, emailed parents new Sign In and Sign Out procedures. by: S2 did not verify if C1’s authorized representative was there to pick up C1. Staff #2 (S2) did not C1 walked out of the facility, alone, and was unsupervised for approx. 10 minutes until C1 reached C1’s home.
