101229(a)(1) · 101229(a)(1)-Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a)The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs.(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, The licensee has already began a plan of correction by suspending two staff without pay that were responsible for the child being left on the bus. The staff have been required to attend an all staff training which includes active supervision training this week. Provided existing Active Supervision policy which has been read and signed by each employee. In addition, the staff will be required to watch CDSS Supervision Videos and create a roster to check the children upon departure and arrival. POC due 3/12/25. This was evidenced by: During an investigation and admittance, a preschool child was left unsupervised on a bus during a field trip on February 28, 2025. Although the child was found safe, this is a Type A violation for lack of supervision which is an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children in care.
