  102416.5(d)(2) · 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity d) For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time...(2) More than twelve and up to fourteen children only if the criteria in Section 1597.465 of the Health and Safety Code are met. Licensees will submit plan to LPA to avoid operating out of ratio. Plan will include such things as: children schedules, what will be done if only one licensee is present, as well as the understanding of ratio. Due by 4/6/2023.

  Based on record review and observation, facility was operating with 13 children, 4 under the age of 2. On date of LPA visit, 13 children, 4 under the age of 2, with only one adult. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety and personal rights of children.
