Staff did not locate or observe any safety hazards which were later discovered by children in care. A box/carton containing multipe razor blades was discovered by children in care, resulting in two injuries. Staff stated they conducted a safety check of outdoor playspace prior to incident but did not observe any hazards. This is an immediate health safety and personal rights risk to children in care. Director will conduct training with staff regarding routine safety checks of outdoor play areas, especially when work crews were know to be present and could potentially leave hazards behind.
