102425(i) · Infant Safe Sleep If an infant falls asleep before being placed in a crib or play yard, the provider shall move the infant to a crib or play yard as soon as possible.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee had a play yard for the infant in care in an inaccessible room and stated the infant will usually nap in her arms. During a review of records, LPA also observed the Licensee also did not have an Individual Sleeping Plan LIC 9227 for infant in care which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
