This is evidenced by The director will clean two refrigerators and discard all old and spoiled food immediately. The director will ensure the food is healthy and not expired or spoiled. The director will submit a plan of correction to the Department by 5/23/2023. LPA inspected the kitchen and observed old food (vegetables) in the refrigerator which was displaying progressive growth. In addition, LPA observed meat on the counter which should have been refrigerated and rice from yesterday per director. This is a potential risk to the health and safey of children in care.

The two refrigerators have an abundance of food that is old or not being used. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

This documentation shall be kept in the child care center for at least one year. This is evidence by The director will conduct fire drills with children and staff according to the CCL Department and create fire / earthquake drill log. The director will submit proof of the log and drills to the Department by 5/23/23. LPA did not observe any fire or earthquake drills available. The director did not provide proof of any drills.

101170(e) · 101170(e)-Criminal Record Clearance All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility. This is evidenced by The director will ensure that all individuals working on the premises are fingerprint cleared prior to being allowed to work. The director will also ensure that any adult that has a current fingerprint clearance transfer the fingerprint clearance to the Department prior to the adult working on the premises. The director will transfer the prints immediately or get the adults fingerprinted immediately. The director did not have proof of fingerprints / live scan for Staff #1 and Staff #2. This is required for all employees. LPA checked the Department's computer system and did not observe the clerances for the adult employees. The director will submit a plan of correction on how she will stay in compliance and will be sent to the Department by 5/17/23. No unfingerprinted individuals will be allowed on the premises.
