Per Director, she will speak to child#1's parent today to bring in medication that is not expired, in addition, expired medication will be sent home. Upon children's return back to school the facility will ensure all of the conditions are met prior to accepting children back. Based on records review of Child #1's medication and staff disclosures the Epinephrine Injection was observed to have an expiration date of 04/2024. This poses an immediate risk to children in care. A written plan will be submitted to LPA by 04/22/24. Per staff#1, facility director, staff#3 has been suspended as of 03/20/24. Parents and staff were informed. Per staff#1, they did not have a designated teacher to act as director since director absence. This poses a potential health, safety and personal right risk to the children in care.

Per staff#1, facility director has been suspended as of 03/20/24 and it was not reported to the licensing and facility did not have a designated teacher to act as child care director in director's absence. Per staff#1, child#1 an infant, moved to Yellow Family preschool classroom (2-3 year old) since 09/21/23 when child#1 was 22 months old.
