102425(i) · 102425(i) Infant Safe Sleep If an infant falls asleep before being placed in a crib or play yard, the provider shall move the infant to a crib or play yard as soon as possible. Licensee will ensure that infants are not sleeping in car seats, infant seats, motion seats, rockers, or the alike. Licensee will submit a plan of correction to the Department by 9/8/25. The licensee's assistant removed the child during the visit and placed the child in a playpen. This is evidence by LPA observed an infant child (child #1) asleep in a motion seat. The seat was not moving. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. Infants are to nap in a crib or playpen. 159662(b)(1) · (b) (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training.
