LPAs observed a five month old infant, propped on a boppy, with a bottle propped by a blanket. LPAs Per director, Sylvia Wingfield, she will provide training to all infant staff that infants are to be held while feeding and there will be no propping of bottles. Director will provide copy of detailed training agenda with attendance to the Fresno Community Care Licensing office no later than 3/17/23. reviewed with director, who stated that training as been provided to staff. When a child care center is cited for a deficiency and violates the same regulation subsection within a 12-month period, the child care center shall be cited and an immediate penalty of $250 per cited violation shall be assessed for one day only. Thereafter, a penalty of $100 per day, per cited violation, shall be assessed until the deficiency is corrected. this inspection and LPAs observation. Upon ariving LPA counted 14 infants in a classroom with the Director and Director stated facility is in the process of hiring more teachers. They are also contacting former staff to see if they are available to return to work. Facility was back in ratio before LPA left facility. Director to update CCLD on progress of plan by the POC due date of 11/01/21. one teacher present. An assistant arrived witnin 10 minutes to help supervise the 14 children, however, the facility was still out of ratio.
