Licensee and LPA discussed plan to reduce ratio for the facility. Immediately 3 infant children were picked up while LPA was present. Licensee will work with parents to immediately move remaining 4 additional infants to another facility to obtain compliance. LPA will return on another day to ensure compliance with this regulation is met. Based on inspection and licensee interview, present during today's visit were 11 infant aged children and 1 preschool aged child. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Licensee will call parents of 5 infants to be sent home and find alternative care by 4/7/2022. Licensee will also review licensing staffing ratio and capacity regulation and watch video on How many children can attend a FCCH (on licensing website) and submit a written plan of action on how she will ensure she is in complaiance by 4/15/2022. Based on physical plant inspection licensee did not ensure proper ratio capacity when licensee accepted 9 infants into care which poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected. Licensee shall remove all bumper pads, hanging mobile, blankets and pillows from infant sleeping area by 4/8/2022. Licensee shall review Safe Sleep regulations and submit to LPA a written plan detailing how infants will be placed in cribs to sleep in compliance with Safe Sleep regulations by 4/15/2022 EOB. Based on physical plant inspection, interviews conducted and records reviewed Licensee did not ensure safe sleep protocols which poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
