101238(a)(1) · 101238(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees, and visitors. (1) The licensee shall take measures tp keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. The facility staff will ensure that all furniture, equipment, and physical space, including those used for storage, within the classrooms are kept clean and free of pests and rodent droppings. LPA Uribe observed rodent droppings and deceased insects inside of storage tubs inside of the classroom. Additionally, evidence was obtained that the facility has an intermittent issue with keeping the facility free of pests rodents, and a plan of action to ensure that preventative measures are regularly taken to keep the facility free of pests and rodents. Director will email these written plan of actions to LPA Uribe at christina.uribe@dss.ca.gov no later than the due date of 07/18/2025.
