    101223(a)(3) · 101223(a) Personal Rights The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights:(3) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature including but not limited to: interference with functions of daily living including eating, sleeping or toileting; or withholding of shelter, clothing, medication or aids to physical functioning.

    Director has fired teacher involved with the allegations. Director to conduct refresher trainings in dealing with children's challenges, staff reporting, supervision, and personal rights. Based on interviews and record review, a staff member was observed kicking a child in the back area. This poses an immediate health and safety, and personal rights risks to children in care. Director to email LPA a roster (signed and dated) of staff attending trainings and have each staff provide in writing, a summary of the trainings; POC due date 9/29/2025. **Amended to include POC due date of 9/29/2025**
