101238(a) · Buildings and Grounds - (a)The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. Director is to create a plan that ensures the outside play yard, which includes toys and play equipment, are clean and sanitary prior to allowing children in care access to that space. Plan to be emailed to LPA no later than 4/29/2026. This requirement was not being met as evidence by: Interviews conducted stated that at least on one occasion children were allowed access to the outdoor area before staff had a moment to clean the toys and play equipment. This poses a it poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.

Facility will update drop off/pick policy to reflect that parents have access to enter the during facility operating hours. Facility will provide proof of correction to LPAs by 11/21/2025. Based on record review, interviews and admission, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which the drop off/pick policy does not allow parents to enter the facility, which poses an potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care. 101216.3(b) · 101216.3(b) - Teacher-Child Ratio: The licensee may use teacher aides in a teacher-child ratio of one teacher and one aide for every 15 children in attendance.

Center Director must provided proof of staffing agency contacts for providing substitute teachers when their is staffing shortage by the due date. Based on admission, interviews, documentation received and reviewed, classroom was without a qualified teacher being present leaving only one qualified teacher with 18 children, which caused a potential risk to children in care. Center Director will also watch CCLD videos on ratio/capacity on the ccld.ca.gov website and submit a detailed summary of understanding to LPA via email.
