Site Supervisor (SS) conducted a training for all staff that focused on supervision. SS put together a plan on how compliance will be met from now on with supervision. SS included a plan for distractions not to interrupt observation of children. POC cleard today. Based on staff interviews and staff admitting culpability a child was left outside without supervision. This is an immediate health , safety and personal right to children in care. 101238.2(g) · Outdoor Activity Space (g) The playground shall be enclosed by a fence to protect children and to keep them in the outdoor activity area. The fence shall be at least four feet high.
Lead teacher stated she will have program manager barricade the fence to secure the area. This barricade needs to be in place within 24 hours. Correction must be sent to CCL by 3/4/2022.The permanent fence must be in place within three weeks’ time frame and Based on LPA's observation and interviews the fence is down and children have access to a field. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. send proof of the correction to CCL by 3/24/2022.
