102417(a) · 102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home (a). . . When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home. . .absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. This was not met as evidence by. . . Licensee completed her practicum on May 23, 2024. Licensee had emailed LPA her plan to stay in compliance which includes to update her hours of operation to ensure she is present 80% of the hours the facility is providing care. Based on the licensee's schedule she was enrolled and attending school two days a week for five hours each day, licensee was absent from the home more than 20 percent of the hours day care was being provided.This causes a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
