Site Director will require all staff to watch Children's Personal Rights Video on CDSS website and have each submit answers to the questions by 2/23/24. 101229(a)(1) · 101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. The facility has provided staff training for active supervision and changed protocol to have all doors to the multipurpose room closed to prevent children from leaving the area. Should the doors be open, a staff member will be stationed at the door to prevent children from leaving the area. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by the unusual incident submitted by the facility reporting that a child was left without supervision for a shor period.
