101229(a)(1) · Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision-The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. The director agrees to submit the following POC: Meeting with staff regarding new supervision protocols and signatures. 2) submit a written plan of all of the corrections including reinforcing the gates 3) Staff count the children every 30 minutes. 4) Director and staff view the Department videos on CCL Website and document their understanding of supervison. The plan will be submitted via via email to LPA Wheatley by 2/13/23 The deficiency is evidenced by: Child #1 exited the facility by walking out of four gates that were left open. The child was found walking down the street by a passerby. The child was brought back to the facility unharmed.
