Per Director, she confirmed with the Regional Office that S1 has been associated. LPA observed Staff 1 (S1) is not associated to the facility. LPA observed on LIS that S1 has a fingerprint clearance. 101229(a)(1) · Responsibility of Providing Care and Supervision No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation.
Per Director, a staff meeting will be conducted to review supervision. All staff will watch "Supervising Children in Child Care Centers" on ccld.childcarevideos.org and have each staff submit written summary. Meeting agenda will be submitted to LPA by POC date 01/10/2022. Based on interview and record review, it was disclosed by 3 of 7 staff, that a child was left unattended in a classroom without supervision on 11/19/2021. This posed an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of child in care.
