Facility will conduct a staff meeting regarding children's personal rights, the meeting with include how to appropriately speak with children and how to change diapers. Staff members will sign the meeting notes and submit to CCLD by POC date Based on interviews conducted, LPA learned at least one staff forcefully held a child on the changing table while attempting to change a diaper and at times had aggressive tones/ words. Facility has also posted sign reminders for staff to conduct "face to name" counts at every transition. Facility will submit proof of trainings to LPA Based on interviews, the facility did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Principal stated that C1 has been removed from the original classroom, and has not since had any recent biting incidents. Additional staff have been hired to help supervise children to prevent future occurrences. LPA cleared the deficiency during the visit. Based on interviews conducted and review of records it was determined that C1 had thirteen confirmed biting incidents over a six month period. This is an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
